Logo Design and Web Redesign for Bizou Wines

Description

Krewe du Bizou Wines is a distributor of fine artisan wine from the regions of Oregon. Experts in the representation of boutique wines depth, grace, and character, Bizou focuses on quality rather than quantity. Bizou also offers a fine collection of small production wines from California and France.

Objective

As a wine distributor that focuses on exceptional quality products, Bizou wanted to increase awareness of the wines they offer as well as incorporate an elegant rebrand to better reflect the products they represent. In order to maximize visibility, a website would be needed to act as a portal to the many labels under the Bizou roof. While the client wanted a new modern logo, they still wanted to utilize the original concept of an illustrated woman drinking wine.

Result

The final brand created has been affectionately dubbed "Grape Head." She perfectly represents the target demographic of the modern young wine drinker while still remaining graphically fun. The website is a simple and clean site that represents the nature of the wines on display. It allows users to learn about wine labels and purchase the wines directly. The site uses a full CMS (content management system) that can be easily updated by Bizou and was developed using responsive design which resizes based on the device size (PC, tablet or smartphone).
